FINCO Search is working with a reputable private bank that has been operating for over 30 years’ now with an established office in Dubai. This bank is a category 1 bank in the DIFC region and has a strong network of HNW/UHNW clients that are based in the middle east as well as NRI clients. We are in search of a Senior Private Banker with a transferable book of HNW/UHNW NRI (Non-resident Indian) clients that they can bring to this bank.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Liaising on a regular basis with the private banking team based in Switzerland as well as the team in Dubai
  • Advising you HNW/UHNW NRI (Non- Resident Indian) clients on regular basis on investment decisions and solutions
  • Working closely with internal teams on due diligence and compliance matters
  • Carrying out due diligence and compliance checks prior to on-boarding new clients to this bank
  • Up-selling the bank’s investment products and services to your existing portfolio of HNW/UHNW clients as well as new clients
  • Working closely with the private banking team on business development techniques to attract new clients to the bank as well as to grow the firm’s AUM
  • Working closely with introducers in order to get referrals which will grow your portfolio of clients and grow your AUM
  • Travelling on a regularly to meet with new clients, as well as your existing portfolio of HNW/UHNW NRI clients

Experience

  • Over 5 years’ worth of experience as a private banker focusing on the NRI (Non- Resident Indian) markets
  • Over 6 years’ worth of experience in the private banking/ wealth management sector is essential for this role
  • An established/transferable book of HNW/UHNW NRI (Non-Resident Indian) clients that you can bring to this bank
  • Fluency in English and Hindi is essential for this position
  • The ability to travel on a regular occasion in order to meet with new clients, introducers and your existing clients
  • Proven experience of where your HNW/UHNW clients have moved with you from any bank
  • A portfolio of HNW/UHNW NRI (Non- Resident Indian) clients worth over 150MM AUM USD
  • Being able to transfer a minimum of 30-40MM AUM in the first year of joining this bank
